Our club is built on a foundation of community values, cooperation, dedication and enjoyment. We are incredibly proud of our teams, the people they are and all they continue to achieve.
Clay Brow was formed in 2014 primarily as a mens open age football team by our Chairman Jason Howarth and Friends. Two years into forming the club we gained some momentum locally and formed an open age reserve side, which was soon followed by our Clay Brow Athletic team as we gradually started to grow our Mens section. In 2019 it became apparent the need for a well ran football club within the local area to support Youth football as it was suffering from a lack of community led investment into grassroots football and the youth that play within it.

Since starting the journey, the club has grown to 38 teams in 2024 and built an executive board of 5 committed members with a huge amount of passion to continue the growth of the club for its players, members and the community. The club is Accredited and part of England Football, playing across 10 different leagues and continues to invest in bringing on new teams with a real focus on increasing our girl's youth participation and plans to introduce a women's team by 2025
